Thinking Fashion
After spending the day in meetings with my fellow fashionistas (you know who you are) my head feels like it's going to explode with all this fantastic fashion news!
I got to look at some of the new spring summer lines that are hitting down on the high street. Where the retailers have got their inspiration from and how that will influence what we wear this season . There is going to be a lot of key trends so it's difficult to pick just one, but the one that has the biggest investment yet again is...... THE DRESS!
So here's the heads up fashion followers.......
If you're a casual girl summer denim and the chambray shirt dress will be for you. Keep your look minimal and white will be a fresh summer wardrobe refresher. Look towards Topshop, Oasis, Mango and Warehouse.
More a feminine, fun and playful then Florals will be for you, 50's full skirts and floral vintage print mixing. Pastels will be your favourite colour pallet with popping fushia and apple accessories. The highstreet see's its inspiration taken from Dolce and Gabbana, Stella McCartney and Louis Vuitton.
Now for my favourite Going Out Dresses. The high street has taken it's influences from Gucci, Christopher Kane and Chanel to name but a few and the dresses are nothing but beautiful. Collections are contrasting from black, gold and crystal embellishment to pastels, apricots and sheer fabrics. Whether it's a maxi with a sexy split( trend show stopper), short or hi-low hem there will be a going out dress for everyone this season. Now I just need an excuse to go shopping!!

Think Nirvana and Pearl Jam when styling and your sure to be on to a grunge look which will be envied! Check out my hot picks from the high street.......

| Oasis Tie Front Ditsy T-Shirt £30 |
With my hard earned cash burning a hole in my pocket, today was the day to add a few new outfits to my jam packed wardrobe. I couldn't resist a cute tie front ditsy t-shirt.....Yes it's on the front new for this season. I've chosen to wear this with super skinny black jade jeggings which remarkably are extremely comfortable!! I just can't say no to a dress either especially towards the end of the month so I picked up a soft feminine print pleated number. Both are key investments and can be worn day to night which is exactly what I need!! Team both outfits up with killer nude heels and you're good to go, shopping done!!

Fresh Faces
With London Fashion Week right around the corner the New Generation or NEWGEN recognition scheme is set to shine the spotlight on some of Britain's best up and coming designers. Alexander McQueen, Matthew Williamson and Julien MacDonald to name a few have all had the backing of this internationally recognised scheme. With AW12 trends about to hit the cat walks of London I'm excited to see what these talented fresh designers will have us wearing in the winter months.!! I'm backing...........

Pearls Of Wisdom
I'm not usually a fan of embellishment but sometimes you have to love the things you hate. Inspired by the Cockney Pearly Kings and Queens of the 19th century this Allsaints classic leather biker jacket will certainly draw attention to the wearer. Think rusty buttons and hand embellished pearls. Allsaints SS12 collection also sees the pearly design being used on their cardigans and T-shirts . For a cool £395 this rocky leather can be yours.

Back To Basics
Printed Tees are everywhere at the moment from Primark to Allsaints. Unless we all have access to an endless pot of money and the streets of London we might all end up looking the same. But do not fear there's a really cool online retailer called Threadless who have a t-shirt for everyone. All the printed T's are designed by artists and really individual. Also if you have a creative flare you can submit your own designs. They don't cost the earth either which is a bonus!

| Co-ord Scarf Print Shorts |
Check out these fantastic shorts which I've just spotted on Topshop's website. It's all about clashing patterns and a super cool baroque look. From jagged neon designs to soft feminine scarf prints they'll be some form of prix-ing for everyone to pull off this season. If miss matching prints isn't for you wear these shorts back to classic black or dazzling gold.
